| Tried a pint of Websters Bitter that was on offer at �1.99 and found out why - obviously been on too long and was well past its best. The average age of the staff seems to be about 12 - also heard comments coming from the "Cellar" while coming from the toilets.. "no! don't do that.. you shouldn't shake the barrel to see how much is left cos all the crap from the bottom gets stirred up!"... good job one of the kids knows about beer... | Much nicer since my previous visits. Good pints of Deuchars and Ironbridge Brewery Four Candles...no Four Candles! (classic 2 Ronnies). Place seems to be more homely now and well worth a visit for the selection of cask ale. stevane - 25 Nov 2009 12:23 |
