In response to the previous comment-are you sure you were in the right place? I have eaten in Riverside many times and tried all the exotic burgers-they are NOT out of a packet. Can I also add that Riverside have never, ever charged 10 to listen to the music-it has always been free. Did you read the previous comment 'n'? Does the saying 'kick a dog when its down' feature in your vocabulary? Karen McDonald - 21 Jun 2004 13:21 |
WEnt for a drink on a Sunday a few weeks ago, service was appaling for food, deserts were still frozen when served. Burgers out of a packet, roast meat just ok overcooked veg. gastropub prices with Hungry Horse service and food. Have friends with similar experiences amazed at the prices for live music as well 10 with a tiny stage area. Best of luck, won't be back. n - 21 Jun 2004 12:20 |
it has closed down poor things. sad. it has "CLOSED FOR BUSINESS" on the door so i suppose it really is all over. anonymous - 15 Jun 2004 13:52 |
Hope the rumours are not true. Riverside is a great place and I hope it doesn't close. Lovely owners and staff. Great food, music and a nice garden to sit and relax with a drink or three. I've lived in Colliers Wood about 10 years and nice to have such a place here. Marc - 11 Jun 2004 20:29 |
What?? Closing down? Oh surely not. I've only been there once so far, and for me the music was the draw. I really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, beer, and sounds. I was hoping this would be a regular local attraction. Can this rumour be knocked on the head? Frank - 8 Jun 2004 20:33 |
