| Great beer.Loved the White Lion.Very far-out carpet and nice little snug area with a fire.Food looked very good as it was brought out,though I did not eat anything as i was too busy laying into the beers.Large car park,Situated on traffic lights,so maybe people don't necessarily think to stop?They should do. | My current local (as in one minute from the house.) And thank God it's a very good pub. Always something going on, it's well supported by locals. Food is decent, three pale ales always on tap, and Bob's excellent White Lion is a permanent fixture. Also does Addlestones on draught. | Recently reopened (by Mel who used to manage the Brewer's Pride) with lots of real ale. Bob's White Lion is now regular, and in fine form, as well as Ossett stuff. Excelsior was on at the weekend. Four real pumps at the mo, and Mel intends to install some more. Addlestones Cider should be on soon. Lot's of music being planned too. Well worth a trip nigsy - 9 Aug 2010 12:34 |
