user reviews of the Vine Inn, Chertsey

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The ethos of anti social behaviour and hate that was illustrated by the management & its sick cronies is a warning to all civilisation.

this place has seen better days, all boarded up, since the line dancing scene fell on its backside this place has had no signs of life...... however, i have been hired by some vulnerable OAPs to investigate, there have been signs of life there after all, i parked the jag down near flemish fields and galsworthy, not wise, lots of tea leaves, but i didnt want to blow my cover.
with stealth i entered the back door, someone had definately been here recently there seemed to be cashmere stuck on the banister, the place smelt of pah larkins knuckle children, when i walked into the main bar, i could not believe my eyes, i cannot repeat the events what i eventually told the police. absolute depravity. the assailant left some kind of zoomable occular device behind.

i shall endeavour to solve this mystery

Luckily this place is still closed, told the trouble and strife that I was going to watch the planets align with my mini Hubble out down the meads. Think she bought it, made sure noone was looking, broke in the back doors of the Vine. Bit of trouble getting the Hubble up the stairs, kept getting my cashmere sweater stuck on banister, still smells of
Draught cola and feint smell of leather and sweat, no doubt from the line dancing that used to go on here. After setting up mini Hubble I checked windows of abbey chase nursing home, plenty of lovelies walking around, some of them so old they forget to get dressed at all. Triffic! Kushty! Popped on my iPod, selected the the theme from the lloyds bank ad... Mines a hand shandy barman!
Ultimate lock in!
Perfick!

The Vine has been closed for many months as a result of several years of poor management.Nothing to do with the recession, nothing to do with the smoking ban, just incomptence. This used to be a thriving pub.
Consent has now been granted to convert it into flats-yet another pub bites the dust-there are very few left in Chertsey which are worth a visit.

It's closed... hopefully forever.
