| A white stuccoed building with elegant bow windows. Since the last time I was in here someone has tastefully redecorated in a modernish comfortable style opening out what used to be a shabby drinking den. Beer is also much improved on the dire John Smiths cask previously sold. It was only Black Sheep bitter and it was a tad too cold but still 100% better than the Smiths used to be. Usual lagers etc for those who enjoy. Only the punters haven't had a make over, 3 or 4 old lads in on my freezing Saturday lunchtime visit. TVs in both bars, quiz night Thursday and a disco/karaoke advertised for Friday and Saturday nights. anonymous - 4 Apr 2009 10:17 |
