This pub was listed as one of ten on the 2022 Henley Ale Trail but is closed at the moment so to qualify for our T-shirts we had to have two pints in the last pub on the crawl to make up for it How sad, what a pity, never mind! scoobybooze2 - 7 Apr 2022 15:20 |
Watched England win the Rugby World cup in here in 2003, since then has undergone many incarnation including being shut for long periods. Currently the Bull is as much restaurant as pub, Symonds cider quaffed in the front part of the building was very pleasant and toe-curlingly expensive. ciderman64 - 8 Aug 2014 16:03 |
Rather upmarket - not surprisingly! Brakspear's Golden Bull was quite good, but not stunning. More choice of ale would have a bonus. Pub was spotlessly clean, and ticked all the boxes. And Reassuringly Expensive. ed_hodge - 20 May 2013 13:25 |
No real ale so didn't sample but did notice that the small amount of punters were watching the footy in semi-darkness. Odd... Quinno - 22 Jun 2009 21:39 |
