| Not realy a pub, but a restuarant. The wine list is good, but the staff did not seem to know much about the wines listed, or their availability. I was tod that one was not there, but later I saw it on the rack in the glass fronted 'cellar' area! The food was well presented and cooked to a high standard. | Went for girlie lunch and 2 of us had fish pie with uncooked puff pastry lids and mostly egg in the pie..where was the fish? The soup was ok. Overall is a place where in nice surroundings can 'look good' but eat food that does not live up to the expectations at all. Will not return anonymous - 25 Oct 2007 16:29 |
| Opened at the beginning of May as an add on to their restaurant at the back. They completely gutted out the bar area and installed cool-pub things that looked worn and as if they had been there for years :) Visited by thirty something Henley types, very small bar sitting area, but relaxed atmosphere.
