| I understand that the guy who ran both the Chapel in Cotford St Luke and the Notley Arms in Monksilver before they went bust is now running this pub. | Its got a cask marque accreditation sticker on the door so you know the ales are going to be crap, and they sure are. Although the place looks welcoming it is anything but, the staff look bored and disinterested. | I had to stop in here for a break after driving ocross Exmoor in foul weather. As with a lot of previous posting on pubs in this area, previous comments on this pub have been deleted. The food here is fine, alas no one here seems to understand the basics of cellarmanship, and the ale was undrinkable.
