| A week away (Wed and Thurs afternoons). Definitely not 0.3 miles from the station as it's on the southbound platform in the buildings! Can drink on the platform (plastic glasses only) or there's a garden. Wye Valley Butty Bach and PM Glaslyn were on - Doom Bar was off - oh dear!!! | On a recent stay in Porthmadog, this was the pub we went to again and again. Very friendly with good beer and a mixture of locals and visitors. There's a door onto the southbound patform so you've plenty of time to sup up and make a dash fro the train! arihall - 16 Mar 2011 11:49 |
| This pub is the station buffet and is located on the railway station platform. 2 handpumped real ales available. The regular Purple Moose brewerery Snowdonia was in perfect condition.
