| a compact pub with low ceiling, carpet and tables and chairs. The meals were well cooked, and good portions represented value for money. Three beers were on tap and the Adnams which I had was well kept and satisfying. The staff were friendly and communicated. | i drink in here fairly regular , having only moved from romford quite recently i was looking for a regular pub , this pub isnt my nearest pub but i think its the best pub in ongar for the following reasons 1) the real ale is always good and also varied and very well kept by Ian 2) live entertainment every saturday night , i know the others do stuff as well but they arent as roomy 3) the staff are friendly 4) the punters are friendly 5) food is good romfordir - 4 May 2010 17:42 |
