Same format indeed it is Karen and David. Myself and three friends all agree, good beer, served well, nice snack and friendly banter from behind and in front of the bar. We will be visiting again soon. quaffed - 29 Jun 2011 14:33 |
The Duke of Wellington re opened on the 15th of April 2011. Same format, still serving fine cask ales. Karen and David welcome you all bidmiester - 10 May 2011 21:09 |
Just another social club raped by Enterprise Inns. It surely is time for a victim support network against this irresponsible destruction. quaffed - 8 Jan 2011 09:56 |
CLOSED DOWN. The pub finished trading on New Years Eve and has been emptied of all furniture. RIP Tweet285 - 4 Jan 2011 13:20 |
This is effectively our local and my Dad, a real ale enthusiast, informs me that their beer is good stuff, well kept and served. It's pretty much got most things you could ask for in a traditional pub from our experience. Friendly place, quite small inside but with a (fairly basic but reasonable) garden out back to sit with kids and dogs. Not in the centre of Lichfield but only two minutes out and well worth a visit. One of the best in Lichfield. vinnie42 - 1 Jun 2010 11:49 |
