| I enquired about a booking for Sunday lunch for about twenty guests. I was told that a deposit of £10 was required. When I said this was not possible this was revised to £5. We have to ensure that people who book actually turn up I was told. Having been making similar bookings at other places for many years where a deposit was not requested, I was left with the impression that I was not trustworthy.
