| Huge pub just off the A25 near Seal. Big range of food available. It all seemed good and reasonably priced, especially if you go midweek when the carvery is only £5.95. | Went here for the first time today. One person in our party was in a wheelchair. 1st no disable parking, but not a big problem. Then two lots of stairs to carry the wheelchair down, not good, third, none of us like rare meat and that was what was on offer, so we left. Can't comment on the beer. | Dubious about visting this pub after a disasterous visit last year, and reading about it in the local rags... But heard The Crown has a new manager... all I've got to say is a vast improvement has been made... | You're right, mtaylor, it is there! I couldn't believe it, so I just went and checked, and there it is in the 2012 edition. Why indeed? The only beer I've tried there was almost undrinkable. Perhaps we've both just been unlucky - but I suspect not.... earlydrinker - 5 Mar 2012 22:27 |
