| Totally revamped and under new ownership. The refurbishment is first class modern and informal Good cosy restaurant upstairs away from bar area serving quality pub food, not in competition with the Town centre gastro pubs Ormand/Close etc Good range of real ales One of only two pubs in Tetbury with a beer garden (the other being the Close) with a good view over the old railway cutting - and a French Boules/pitanque pit and rapidly becoming the locals favourite msmith8741 - 3 Jun 2014 17:25 |
| Saw the sign on the A46 and decided to try it for a pub lunch. Smallish pub in village centre. Warm welcome from the landlord, decent choice of well-kept, tasty doorstep sandwiches and a fine ham ploughmans kept a smile on our faces.
