Aspall's cider (but keg). Nice open fire. jgurney1 - 27 Jan 2014 19:50 |
I agree with other reviewers that the Wellington does look shabby on the outside - but also shabby on the inside. Staff not very attentive. The house 'guest ale' Old Welly wasn't that great, but worth the 2:80 charged. If you eat in the restaurant across the courtyard - take your pint with you, or rely on waitress service. Clean inside but lacks atmosphere. Food is okay. fugglehops - 7 Oct 2012 16:05 |
I have to agree with the previous posters, this pub is shabby on the outside, and internally, it's a bare floorboard, small table plain ordinary boozer. However, my pint of Directors was spot on, and the staff are very friendly. The courtyard is very clean and tidy, and the food certainly looked good. We didn't eat here so can't comment, but looking at the number of people that were, it must have been. Well worth a visit. Phantom_Pigeon - 20 Sep 2012 11:13 |
dont know how its expensive- Vodka, lime & lemonade and a pint fosters 4.80 compaired to 6.20 where i live an hour away!! tell me that most places in Norfolk are cheaper than that for 2 drinks! hopsgreennyellow - 12 Dec 2011 15:17 |
The wellington is shabby on the outside but somewhat smarter inside, at least in comparison to the Dolphin. This place is rammed with young uns at the weekend and is quite expensive. They have a nice courtyard and a separate restaraunt area which is good, one of the few places in cromer you can get a non panini based lunch. GoonerTony - 5 Aug 2011 12:35 |
