| Superb pub with a real eclectic feel to it, the service is great the Irish lady who normally serves always has a good few lines to reel out, have eaten there and the food is great very enjoyable. | Walked into this pub at 12.15 on Saturday lunchtime, there was no-one in the pub or behind the bar. We had a bit of a look round the place which is long and narrow with a strange mix of almost Asian decor (any connection to the Hand In Glove which is similar?). After 4 or 5 minutes no-one had appeared to serve us so we left. We could have left with most of the contents of the spirits rack if we�d wanted, the owners being so apathetic or is it trusting? There were 3 handpumps on the bar two beers were on but who knows what they tasted like. Went 100 yards down the road to The Dragon for some good beer and service. ROBCamra - 3 Nov 2009 09:32 |
