The Doombar was great. The pub was clean and friendly, with a huge car park!!! Can't make anymore comments!!! wolvesfan - 7 Jun 2011 18:37 |
I visited this pub last weekend with my family and it had a brilliant garden with toys and stuff for the kids to do. Had a variety of different foods on the menu as well as on the special board. They also offered a range of beer and the staff were great accommodating all of our needs. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone without giving it a second thought. clf - 19 Apr 2011 15:13 |
I had a pint of hsb which was ok but the food was dreadful. The menu has a 'construct your own burger section' so i went for a burger ( 6.50 ) plus cheese ( 50p ). For a grand total of 7 quid I got some chips plus a cheeseburger that was on a par with what you might get from one of those catering vans you see parked in laybys. I was expecting a nice juicy burger that might have come from a butchers, what i got was a wafer thin catering grade 'burger', it was disgusting.. Mr_Hants - 9 Jan 2011 19:37 |
Very much a restaurant pub with the bog-standard lagers and ales on offer. Is nevertheless very popular, and it does a fun (if overlong) quiz on Thursday evenings. ChrisP87 - 18 Nov 2008 14:06 |
Fairly nice pub. Seems to be more food orientated. Got the locals giving me the stare a bit as I came through the door, but the staff were extremely pleasant. Cosy set up and a decent selection. Think this is a place to come for a couple of pints and a meal not so much a full on knees up. back2ploughlane - 8 Nov 2008 01:51 |
