Not quite sure what it is about Aprs bars that seem to attract a certain type of person, which as a consequence elevates the price of drinks. This one isnt so different to any other Aprs. Good food, overpriced drinks with slow and contemptuous staff serving behind the bar. It does get busy, but its hard to get a decent atmosphere when its filled with so many pretentious people and hoards of wag wannabes. Beware of wearing stripes they clearly offend the doormen as one of my friends was refused entry because he had a stripy jumper on. Despite spotting several people wearing trainers inside interesting dress policy. B3XTER - 21 Feb 2012 15:43 |
Actually in West Midlands, not Staffordshire. Richard49 - 26 Jun 2010 11:18 |
Good food served during the day, full of snobs and knobs during the evening. Not the place to be for me to spend a night out timbo77 - 19 Nov 2009 07:05 |
Over priced designer bar for teenagers and posers who are prepared to pay silly prices just to be seen! No real ale, lagers only, and if you happy to pay 4 for a pint of Italian Peroni, then its probably fine for you, but not for me! It may be a 'posh' smart and modern interior with outside seating, and loud music, but its not a pub. Not recommended for those looking for a decent pint of beer, go down the road to the Half Way House....some proper beer and sensible prices. FrostyJW - 9 Oct 2008 11:44 |
