| Proper old school pub in a town dominated by bars. Lots of atmosphere and a friendly welcome. While traditional the pub is, nonetheless, light thanks to the expanse of windows. | This is a very quiet pub at the moment as it appears to be changing hands . However it has a good range of well kept real ales with Timothy Taylors Landlord being the staple - features Purity and Wye Valley amongsts others .
