please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Having used this pub for many years we can only say that on each and every occasion we are made to feel so very welcome the atmosphere is friendly and inviting we have family who also love this pub that choose to have family/ commemorative/birthday gatherings etc here above any other establishment which never has the personal touch that this pub gives, as for the food it is second to none !! it is cooked to perfection every time which will explain why so many people choose to eat there, all bar staff are friendly and make you feel so very much at ease always paying respect and giving thanks to people who have visited. Personally we have frequented many public houses but this has to be top of the list, which we shall continue to visit indefinatley, shall be visiting again very very soon !

Visited yesterday, on arrival the only thing missing was the tumbleweeds from the frosty reception. Was it because I wasn't a local? Food was undercooked, overpriced for what was just reheated frozen fayre. Items advertised on menu didn't arrive on the plate. Such as Burger had no BBQ sauce as advetised. The meat combo stated mushroom in breadcrumb.....it arrived with fried greasey mushrooms. The meat on the combo arived blue, seemed like it was put in the pan and jumped straight back out onto the plate. And this is from someone who eats blue steaks...To sum up not a good exerience! Beware......

A reasonable pub, well kept and good quality beer although can be a little unwelcoming
