It`s branded as a Ska bar these days, specializing in punk, reggae and ska. It`s a nice little boozer with a real ale on (ok it`s a Marsdens but tastes alright) has live bands, sport TV e.t.c..only downside was having my ears assaulted by several Bad Manners songs!!! Blastbeat - 4 Jul 2016 12:51 |
As rpadam put in the last review, a basic, no-nonsense, does what it says on the tin type place. Hobgoblin on special at 2.00 a pint when i went in, nicely kept and for that price i certainly wasn't complaining. This was the 1st pub i visited in Rugby and it was alright...give a chance and don't waste your time (or money) going in the Black Swan next door. lezford - 7 Dec 2011 18:35 |
Basic, no-nonsense town centre Marstons pub and (small) music venue. Pedigree and Banks's Bitter on. Just the right distance away from the High Street to have a reasonably friendly 'local' atmosphere whilst still being used to casual visitors. rpadam - 28 Nov 2009 23:21 |
