Bog standard no frills sports pub, nuff said. Blastbeat - 4 Jul 2016 12:39 |
Don't do it ... no really, don't do it. So far down the hill it's gone over the edge of the cliff. Bad beer, bad everything. rugbydrinker - 2 Apr 2009 19:46 |
Not bad for a pub attracting (or appearing to attract) a younger crowd Not much real ale but both the purity brews were well served sparts73 - 11 Feb 2009 10:05 |
An odd little haunt - has to be the only place I've ever seen that was heaving with Asian Yoot on a week- day. Intersestng layout, very central. Not what you would consider an Alehouse, mind - the aim is at the young and feckless. DeepThought - 18 Jul 2008 17:11 |
Big place broken into different sections. Dead on a Thursday afternoon in early January but the decor was great. Wooden beams, nooks and crannies to sit in, some sort of an old well is in one part of the pub (covered of course). Not sure I'd want to go in on a Friday or Saturday evening but Purity brewery's Ubu at 4.5% was good. Killian42 - 8 Mar 2008 14:48 |
