| The Malt as it is known now is situated just off the main road of this Derbyshire village. It's a nice building with a pleasant interior. 6 ales are served. Today, these were Bass, Sharps Doom Bar & Atlantic, Shiny Affinity, Dancing Duck Dcuk & Titanic Iceberg. I didn't stay long. | Very pleasant local pub that looks to be set up for food trade but still had a good selection real ales on and the Rooster I had was excellent. There was also Bass, JPA and one or two others. | Generally friendly old world pub which is hidden away from the main thoroughfare of Aston. Has some good ales (often TT Landlord), spirits and wines on. Never eaten so cannot comment on food. Is often busy at weekends as with many local village pubs. goalman2000 - 13 Aug 2009 20:01 |
