This is less of a pub, more a restaurant, so i dont think i would stop off just for a beer. The inside is the clean trendy pine look, with a fantastic beer garden with pool. The bar staff were friendly. Saying that, there were the usual taps with Banks's MILD cask and bitter, along with three real ales including; Kinver Edge and QE2 from the Cottage Brewery. These were excellent and the MILD was spot on too. Would love to come back and eat here one night. Archivist - 30 May 2009 09:29 |
What a great pub. Well kept real ales, Doom Bar, Milestone Maid Marien and SHropshire Lad (and Banks's bitter and Mild for the uneducated!). Fantastic food, wonderful gammon & ham menu and the Gammon & Stilton was to die for, and great pate starters. Lovely Pub well worth stopping for. stevane - 30 May 2008 11:06 |
