user reviews of the Road To Morocco, Northampton

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Despite the pub's exotic-sounding name, this pub is a fairly ordinary boozer on a housing estate to the east of Northampton. It was mostly national beers again. Greene King Abbot & Theakston Old Peculier are regulars. Guests were Adnams Broadside, Well's Bombardier Burning Gold & Brains The Rev James. It was a surprisingly good selection, given the pub's location. So, it must have a decent local following. Not really worth the journey out of the centre though.

A year later and even after a number of duty rises Steve has had to put up prices.

Now 2.60 a pint. Theakstons evening coming up soon.

Good estate pub.

Not many cask beers, but always an interesting selection.

Keen landlord.

Friendly estate pub. Noisy (at times) public bar and decent lounge. always a good selection of real ales both local and from further afield all at very reasonable prices, still 4 pints for a tenner.
