Do not be fooled by the name as there's no Cask Ale on tap only Keg beers. Which is a real pity in my opinion because this part of Potter's Bar really needs a good Real Ale Pub as there is no other good real ale bars around this part. Pub its self is good and service good but very quiet for a Friday evening when I went in. Alesonly - 15 Jul 2012 13:28 |
First visit in some time New Digital Jukebox-Play any top 40 hit going back to 1952,nice beer Garden out the back !. pabanks49 - 28 Jul 2011 13:03 |
I wasnt that impressed as I walked in as the first thing that I noticed were the four unused hand pumps alongside Youngs Special that was off. There are no premium lagers, but I did get served a decent pint of Guinness from the friendly barmaid. There are plasma screens for showing Sky Sports and there is also a dartboard and a pool table that was being used by some of the locals, who seemed friendly enough. There is a large beer garden out the back which has a climbing frame and swings for the kids. This place grew on me the longer I stayed and I would go back again if passing.
