Had a pint of the house beer, Hootananny Pale Ale 3.6% for £3.00. Not sure what brewery made it. Large pub, between Brixton and Herne Hill train stations. Multicultural clientele which fits into the area quite nicely.

Went again recently and had another good time! Fun music. Good use of outside space. My G&T tasted a bit funny though.

this is one of the worst pubs i have been to stay away bands that you buy tickets for dont turn up and no offer of refund the owner of the place does not have a clue what she is doing and when you try to talk to her acts like a 5 year old little girl drinks are over priced and the whole pub is dirty with the bouncers having a part time job going around trying to sell there special cig

It was very lively when I visited on a Friday night. Needed to queue and get frisked by a bouncer before getting in and there were stalls outside selling food and drink. Combine this with the pub's spaciousness and the live music and it felt like being at a festival. Definitely worth a visit.

Speaking on behalf of many entertainers that have had the misfortune to agree to doing a gig here, this place is a nightmare. DONT DO IT! the promoters and the management are the most unprofessional, rude people you could ever have the misfortune to deal with. The running of the place is a shambles and sound engineers are a catastrophe... changing microphones and leads during songs, just terrible terrible gigs....In agreement with Haldir, its all about the money. I am surprised they have not been blacklisted by the musicians union, among other professional entertainment boards.
