| Now know simply as The Buck. It is an undress brick corner pub, perhaps 1950s?, with a small beer patio. The interior has been completely gutted. The central bar area supports two rooms; the lounge was all dark when i visited and i couldn't see it. The bar is decked out in football memorabilia from all the local teams, adorning the plain walls. There is pool, darts and Sky TV/ESPN). The red Chesterfield styled leather seating as yet remains unripped. It seems to be aimed at the slightly younger market, though when i visited, there were some maturer people (the Villa were on TV). The service was friendly enough. Beer is tap stuff, with Banks's bitter the only handpull, which was fine. No MILD. The place is ok, i just popped in to watch the Villa.
