Had a few pints over the weekend. The Cumberland Ale was very GOOD f6c - 13 May 2012 17:55 |
Came in handy on a cold day whilst waiting for my bus back to Swindon, unexceptional town pub with a 'chain pub' feel about it, beer was fine, pub warm and clean, which is probably all you can expect these days... Hodge1 - 21 Oct 2011 06:11 |
Cirencester is pretty poor for town centre pubs and the Black Horse is no exception. It is about as average, by any metric, as any town pub, anywhere. Characterless. Snooty service. Bland. griffo59 - 30 Jul 2011 18:53 |
Had a couple of pints over the weekend. The beers I tried were good. f6c - 21 Nov 2010 18:58 |
A pleasant place, but unprepossessing from the outside. The beers were good and pretty well kept. The food (except for the soup) seems to be chain-produced. HenPen - 8 May 2010 09:59 |
