Dropped in a few weeks back for a quick pint and treated to a lovely drop of Sharp's "Doom Bar" as well as the usual IPA. Smashing log fire going in the corner and an all-round pleasant atmosphere to boot.

Looks to have plenty going on the way of evening and weekend entertainment - singers, bands etc. A landlord really trying to keep his pub at the heart of the community. Deserves support.

This is getting better and better. Beer choice varies from week to week which is good to see. Food is good quality and well priced - with bar food or more fancy restaurant fayre. Puddings we had were wonderful! The atmosphere's great too - a nice buzz with a lovely welcome.

The Fox is much improved under the new landlords Ian and Bekka who arrived this autumn. There are now five real ales available, two or three Adnams and two or three interesting guest ales, all well kept. The food is good pub grub, well presented and reasonably priced. You will definitely need to book for Sunday lunch and it would be a good idea at other times too. They have started occasional live music sessions

A popular food pub with just cause. It was friendly and pleasant and the Broadside was good. A nice old pub with character. They were advertising for more staff and I could see why but the staff they had were doing a good job. If I'm ever in the area again I will happily go back.

This isn't bad. The beer selection is usually GKIPA, Adnams + 1 interesting other. The interesting other is often a locally sourced microbrewery beer and the ones i've had have been excellent. Food is pub grub - very well priced and you get plenty of it but you're going to struggle if you're a vegi! Staff are friendlyish and a big improvment on the last incumbent but I've known a better welcome. It's a fab building with a great garden in a beautiful village that you can't help but feel could be doing rather better.
