A very nice pub. Good range of ales and I din;t feel uncomfortable as a mere drinker. Buster_M - 5 Aug 2013 14:07 |
I visited this pub one Tuesday morning with my mother and father who are both in their eighties and were all very impressed. Having only booked the table near the fireplace eight months in advance we were fortunately enough to get a table next to all of the other quirky women who thought that they were starring in "Sex and the city". Entertainment was excellent and featured a terrific solo masturbation set from Trudy the resident lesbian. Tweet @theshoes and simply relay the secret password upon entry to the aggressive barman/accountant to see Trudy's "Garlic bread trick". It's absolutely amazing and will guarantee to have you coming back for more. spikey_dikey - 9 Jul 2012 16:05 |
Went in for Mothers day, luckily we booked. The place was full to the rafters. Must say I was a little concerned of how the food quality would be seeing as how full the place was. I shouldn't have worried, the whole meal was first class as usually. LickSpittel - 15 Apr 2011 15:13 |
Great place! Friendly staff, fantastic food and good beer. Lovely atmosphere and good prices to boot! antmaninov - 15 Apr 2011 14:08 |
Food still good, but the menu doesn't change enough now and there doesn't seem to be many vegetarian options. Staff are still very good apart from the assistant manager. The place needs some maintenance as it beginning to fall apart. theskinnyfatkid - 31 Jul 2010 23:40 |
