| The Castle was our final stop in Herefordshire. It's a gem of a pub well off the beaten track. We'd saved it until last, due to its limited opening hours. The bar has a farmhouse feel, with a high ceiling. There is a separate dining area. The solitary real ale was Hopfather from Wye Valley. But they also had Ty Gwyn Perry on handpull. | Used to drink here when we lived in Kingsthorne, such a lovely retreat, far away from any main road... beer usually well kept and used to be a decent price too. Nice to know it's still open. BromsgroveRover - 6 Jun 2009 14:51 |
