The Castle was our final stop in Herefordshire. It's a gem of a pub well off the beaten track. We'd saved it until last, due to its limited opening hours. The bar has a farmhouse feel, with a high ceiling. There is a separate dining area. The solitary real ale was Hopfather from Wye Valley. But they also had Ty Gwyn Perry on handpull. We had dinner in the bar area and this was not a disappointment either. Recommended. blue_scrumpy - 30 Oct 2018 20:13 |

Used to drink here when we lived in Kingsthorne, such a lovely retreat, far away from any main road... beer usually well kept and used to be a decent price too. Nice to know it's still open. BromsgroveRover - 6 Jun 2009 14:51 |
Friendly local with well kept real ales. Usually Otter Bitter and 3 others. Haven't tried the food myself but friends have recommended it. Windy42 - 19 Jan 2009 19:45 |
