| The pub has been closed down since about March last year following two shooting incidents. It had it licence suspended and fairly strict conditions placed on it if it were to reopen. It looks like no one will take it on as its been up for sale since then. This is hardly surprising. This was at one time the best pub on the height, those days long gone. | Has had a reputation for trouble, with some undesirables who venture in the pub from time to time, Sunday Nights usually a bit tense! Beer slightly overpriced but a good pint overall. Too quiet these days, even when United play, shoddy smoking facilities,a very basic shelter outside that does not protect you from the weather. Staff are ok, some dont smile too much though.
