| The Black Deer is a pub that is more like a community centre than a cosy watering hole. The beers are limited so expect Fosters and Carling as standard. Clientele is very local and not really the friendly type. They have a small garden out the front with seating, however there is a sign stating ‘Garden Closed’ which hangs from a sad looking child’s swing set which is no longer in use.
