| Grim. Firstly the bars were totally unstaffed and seemingly deserted, after shuffling through the depressing dimly lit seated corridors to the lower bar through some young children running about we were curtly told 'bar closed go to the top bar'. When someone eventually turned up they didn't know how how to work the only ale pump then when, in desparation, I picked the 'Frisky Bison' drink heavily advertised on the screens and posters I was met with a blank look and a 'what is that?'. | Shame. Used to be a great pub in the 50s right up to the 80s. Went downhill rapidly when refurbished a few years ago. Change of management and morons behind the bar. Can only agree with all the negative comments. Yes I am embarassed! toomuchbeer - 31 Jul 2009 13:38 |
