A real hidden gem down a winding almost missable quiet track, beer is well kept and good food at lunchtimes only. Worth a trip and v peaceful outside but for the occasional horse and rider passing by.

A great little pub in a beautiful village just through Ashridge forest. Excellent for a nice pint of Tring Ridgeway Or one of around 4 other ales after a mooch though the woods with the dog. Food is good too, excellent ploughmans and sunday lunch is huge and very tasty. Try not to wake up in the stocks by the duck pond!

Great little pub even if it took forever to find hidden away off the main drag. Full of vharacter and the beer I had was great. Sadly the barrel ran out just aa i'd discovered it but the staff were freindly and knowledgeable and pointed me in the direction of another pleasant ale.
Next time i'll try the nibbles platter as it looked great and the belgian beer menu on the table was a nice touch.
If I lived in Cambridge I'd definately make it a regular haunt.
