| A gem of a pub/restaurant/hotel! We held our daughter's wedding reception here and can honestly say that it went as well as it did largely due to the unstinting efforts of Alison & her staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and customer care was an ethos not just the usual loose term used by too many establishments! The food was superb in every detail from quality of ingredients, skill of cooking & presentation right through to the high standard of service. This coupled with good beers & wines made for a great experience. We stayed two nights and were impressed with the rooms & the prices. Highly recommended! grunty - 18 May 2008 12:58 |
