Nice historic pub, friendly locals & service, very good pint of Spitfire. Not sure about the huge St George flag draped over the outside though - could be open to misinterpretation....? E17Bee - 5 Nov 2009 21:28 |

Nice little pub, was 2 mins walk from the flat i lived at in Aveley. Actually serves Jagermeister at a cheap price, which is great. Spartakoos - 14 Aug 2007 22:05 |
Nice comfortable pub which is a bit of an oasis in an area that has not got a lot of pubs selling real ale.Spitfire is usually on tap and on my visit it was in top form, even better than many Shepherd Neame pubs that I have visited.Jamie, the guv'nor is a very friendly bloke and in in the middle of doing a bit of a refurb.Food is not served but you are welcome to take your own. apa - 24 Aug 2006 13:47 |
