Not a great pub! FredWhispers - 4 Sep 2011 20:09 |
Great looking pub.cracking beer.friendly bar staff and regulars.Unfortunately this pub has none of these qualities.Rumour has it that all the worst people from other pubs were collected up by the police and forced to watch hurling 24/7 in this abode of the dammed!Future events for this pub include live and exclusive coverage of Caber Tossing and my favourite the three legged race.AVOID camdencaner - 20 Jul 2008 10:17 |
When i stepped into this pub i felt like i had walked into the landlords christmas dinner with his family. Gran was chewing on the false teeth that she struggled to keep in her mouth, the mad grandad was watching 'Dads army' in his own special corner that no one dare enter. Meanwhile the sons, daughters, cousins ,2nd cousins, uncles, aunties chatted obliviously while the numerous grandchildren ran riot in a special way that only a child born in Erith could. However I did enjoy the re-run of the Galway v Tipperary 1982 hurling final on offer at the other end of the pub, so all was not lost at the july xmas banquet!! adsapps - 19 Jul 2008 22:18 |
locals pubs. Nowhere to park up, looks like a karzee from the outside. anonymous - 11 Dec 2006 18:33 |
Although the pub is nice in atmosphere as pubs go,the clientel is very 'cliquey' so it would be hard to reccomend it as an overly pleasant pub Toadie - 5 Jul 2006 15:00 |
