Landlord lets Millwall "fans" in at 09.00 in the morning. Enough said. Gump - 19 Mar 2013 20:54 |
Large 'no thrills' pub with comarding view of A102(M). Bar staff nice enough, big screen if you want to watch the football. I think a couple of people had been sat at the bar a while when I was in there but the natives are friendly enough.. bigaerials - 16 Feb 2013 16:51 |
Friendly landlord, scaffolder punters, black painted wood everywhere, dreadful pint of Courage Best. curioushistory - 4 May 2011 00:17 |
This is a large high ceilinged ex hotel pub that has been recently redecorated making it a very comfortable place to have a few beers with friends. The large island bar was being run by a very friendly barmaid during my visit, but although there are three hand pumps unfortunately only Courage Best was available on the ale front. San Miguel was also available alongside an extensive standard draught range. There are a couple of plasma screens which were showing VH1 classic during my visit, but I think that these are really there for the Sky Sports which is advertised. There is also a small pool table to the right of the bar and a dartboard on the stage by the front window to the left of the bar. This pub isnt in the most aesthetically pleasing area being situated on the approach to the Blackwall Tunnel, but it is a nice pub and worth a visit if passing. Strongers - 11 Nov 2009 10:55 |
