The pub is now under new management and has relaunched itself as a steakhouse. As well as serving steaks there are plenty of other options on the menu. There is a good selection of beers available all at reasonable prices. Timothy Taylor's Landlord is the regular cask ale on offer. Along with new management there is a new telephone number for the pub. It is now:- 0161-6524216. mrandy1964 - 13 Apr 2012 16:28 |
I think you'll find the contact number is correct. It's just that this site will make a commission from use of the 0871 numbers as shown on every entry on here. Standard procedure. The_Heavy_Fandango - 13 Sep 2011 18:11 |

The Kings has changed hands in February of 2011. They now have a new Chef and the food is superb. A really good menu of traditional favourites and some fantastic individual dishes. A good range of beers and lagers and a very nice wine selection. I'd recommend the Sunday lunch also. Presentation of the food is very good. It's a far cry from previous days. New landlord is friendly and very welcoming, We had the roast beef Sunday lunch and it was very good. I'd recommend it. capitalblogger - 2 Sep 2011 20:24 |
Good food and reasonable beer in good walking area. Serves food on weekday lunchtimes so we use it often on rambles between Delph and Shaw. pubramblers - 21 Feb 2007 13:37 |
