| Quaint little hostelry. Smallish on the inside, but popped in on a weekday morning making it pretty much empty at the time but suited the mood on a day off. The barmaid was friendly enough, but we all had to deal with a drunken geezer who came in asking for a lost bag, who said he'd been in drinking the night before with a priest, who then turned into an official claiming he was going to shut the pub down, and then finally began picking up tables and chairs and twirling them around outside, all while happily downing his bottle of Leffe beer. | Cosy enough little pub on the main road up to the station, reasonable selection of beers, prices about par for the area. In a rare move for the local area it also shows the football, so worth visiting over other superior pubs in the local area if there's a match you want to see on at the time.
