| Not bad. Nice beer (I had Harvey's Mild - excellent condition), but even nowadays �3.10 for a 3.0% beer is not a bargain. Seemed to be a lot of affluent retired people in the clientele (Sat. lunchtime) There is nothing really wrong with the place, but I had time to stay for another beer - and didn't bother. | What a pretty pub in a sussex village. It took good 5 mins to read all the don`t do notices in the entrance, No boots,no dogs at certain times no children here or there. Got past that to eat. Evening meal rushed at end,not offered pudding menu or coffee. Restuarant being laid up for breakfast for B&B whilst we were eating. Mine Hosts obviously waiting for us to leave,hovering over us.
