Don't let the fact that this great pub is run by a miserly Yorkshire half-wit put you off. Grasping Dan is passionate about his real ales and often has unusual and far-flung breweries featured. House beer (Facer's) is good value and if you time it right , you may get a free bar snack or two. handsometw_t - 4 Apr 2011 18:43 |
Good food and beers always available but bar staff still in a world of their own. manstein - 18 Sep 2010 23:31 |
Probadly one of the best pubs in the NorthWest. Excellant choice of beers - usually 2 from Prospect and up to others. Food excellant, Steak night on Tuesday is a must - I have the 1335g biggest steak prize in my sights! A visit here is essential. bloomfieldjpm - 3 Oct 2009 03:19 |
Had a couple of superb pints of Prospect in here that help to wash down a first class meal. They still need to do something about the bar service though, its dreadfull. boltonbloke - 23 Aug 2009 13:31 |
