These days the beer is of variable quality, but there is now a very pleasant beer-yard out the back where you can escape the traffic noise. But not, I fear the noise of Graham and Avril wibbling on - and on and on and on ! I'm not just saying this, saying this - I really, really mean it, mean it ! It is a great pub looks wise, with an open fire and plenty of space. Families are also very welcome. Thats as far as it goes, the food is bland, luke warm and the service is extremely slow even when there were only four tables eating. In conclusion ok for a drink after a walk, but find somewhere else to eat. mjd1181 - 10 Jan 2009 10:52 |

Above average Vintage Inn. Had a lovely meal in there the other night but it isn't cheap. Usual Vintage Inn drinks range that were fine. Perfect for the drinker with family in tow Sharp - 8 Sep 2007 18:05 |
It's a tad characterless on the inside, lacking in atmosphere somehow, having the feel of a chain style family pub. It's okay. insekt - 27 Nov 2006 23:12 |
