| Nice looking pub slightly off the beaten track. Not overly busy on a Sunday lunch time but woefully poor service; so poor in fact that I gave up and left. The two barmaids chatting merrily between themselves were oblivious to my desire to spend money in their pub so I went and spent it elsewhere. | What a find! The food was glorious and very well cooked indeed. Extensive menu specialising in lots of local fish and although this is a pub, it was fine dining at its best. Great atmosphere and a warm welcome with 2 barrels of real local ale on the go. Fast service with a smile - what more could you ask? Will definitely be back as often as we can. | This pub was excellent 10/10 about 4 years ago then lost its chef and went downhill as far as food concerned and landlord appeared to lose interest. Changed hands in 2005 and on our only visit just after was quite good, always and interesting village pub with lively locals. WE will visit again this year and expect it to be even better.
