| the Sealed Knot used this watering hole this weekend during a long hot march commemorating the battle of Marston Moor. Not only were the beers excellent but the prices were excellent too. �1.80p for a pint of sovereign ale that tasted wonderful and although I'm not a larger drinker as a rule, I tried a 5% brew that was very nice indeed. The pub staff were welcoming and the pub had some interesting civil war memorabilia on show. Great pity for us and the landlord's bank balance that we were camped so far away from it.
