| This is indeed a freehouse no longer owned by Greene King with their depressing range of beers. The husband and wife tenants have tidied up the garden, increased the food trade and there are now four ales on offer which change from time to time but currently there is Doom Bar (yawn), London Pride, Gales Seafarers and Butcombe Bitter which was a superb pint. The improved ambience has certainly improved the level of business and people that make an effort should be encouraged. | Pleasant village pub located on the green around the corner from the famed Michelin-starred Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons. GK IPA the only ale on.
