This a good decent pub with two bars, one spilt by a large fireplace. Greene King but the beer was fine. Large garden but I felt sorry for those African Eagle Owls (or whatever they were) sitting there watching the silly humans.Got to see some of the Olympics on their TV and that put me in a good mood. I get the impression that the Landlord & Lady work hard to make this Greene King pub a success, chatty and friendly, beer in reasonable nick & reasonably priced. The pub itself is a rambling type of affair, with separate pub for the TV. Abteilung - 18 Aug 2008 21:17 |
