| Used to go in here often after football in the village. Revisited last week def seems a cleaned up version of its previous incarnation. | I have lived in the village for over 15 years, and have used the Bell many times, and have seen the pub go through its bad and good times. A new landlady took the pub over a few months ago, and we can all see the difference she is making, the place is so clean, the food is fabulous, and the staff are happy to be at work and look very smart. The manager Lindsay has always got a smile on her face and is always happy to talk and help where ever she can. She has got big plans for the pub and most of them are currently in place or have been done (outside tables, which she painted hereself) the cleaniness and the childrens new play area) i think the company should be very very proud of her and would hope there is more managers out there! she has made such a difference in such a short time........we hope she never goes and very excited what the future holds for our local.
